HOW WE STARTED

In 2022 DFY took over the well-established Roundwood Rangers FC which had been running since 2009.
The mission of the DFY Academy is to develop talented and committed players by creating an engaging and challenging environment, all while still enjoying the many benefits of the dynamic, fun and accessible sport.
Many players have gone on to be selected for major London clubs, including Arsenal, Fulham, QPR, Crystal Palace, Watford and Barnet.
We look forward to seeing continued success under our new logo, the DFY Academy.

Who can join?

We operate teams from U7 through to U11 in the Camden & Regent’s Park Youth League and from 4 to 11 years old in the Sunday Football training open to both boys and girls. From September we will be moving location for our training sessions.

**SUNDAY TRIALS & FUN FOOTBALL TRAINING**
10:00AM to 11:30AM @ Roundwood Park, moving to Kenmont School, Valliere Road, NW10 6AL in the winter months.

How it works

Our Academy operates a trial system, whereby you can come for a free trial with your child and see if they enjoy it. Our coaches assess the ability of the player and based on their level will then be offered a chance to sign up for the match season pass or the training pass.
We aim to work with all of our players ensuring that they all get the chance to graduate to our match playing teams and play in the Saturday league games.
We currently have spaces on our U10s team and are looking to actively recruit girls to join our very own DFY Academy Girls Team.

We also run Sunday Football sessions for those that are new to football and or wish to practice and learn new skills in a more fun and informal environment. These sessions take place on Sundays 10-11am at Roundwood Skate Park moving to Kenmont Primary School in the winter months.
Our Sunday sessions are great for children aged 4-11 and often is the starting step to get recruited into our Academy and teams.
