DFY launches summer camp for disadvantaged children

We are very proud of our latest DFY milestone as we ran our first summer camp, helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds to reach their full potential.

Thanks to help from the Brent council and the Salusbury Primary School, we were able to offer nearly 50 children, with nearly 75% coming from financially disadvantaged families and attending free of charge, a week long sports camp to get the exercise and nutrition their growing bodies need.

Thanks to our great partners Magic Breakfast, Soreen, Brinkworth Dairy, Chegworth Valley and Brambletye Fruitfarm, we were able to provide breakfast and healthy snacks throughout the day.
